Hey guys , im running fitech units on my built big block cars and ive installed a bunch of them on my clients cars and they run pretty well if you know how to tune / what to install.

If anyone on here needs any help with their fitech unit shoot here

Have you intalled a six barrell (six pack) unit yet - if so how does it perform? I would like to convert my 440 mopar Hollwy EFI (4 barrell) to a six pack. Should I do this. I get a lot of worrying comments form mopar forrum members.

i would stick with the 4 barrel mate

I've had one for ~ 7 years, nice little unit.
Have been itching to use the spark control component but have a nice Direct Connection (!) ignition at this time. If you have, what kind of curve have you tried? Mine's a 383 w/915 heads Summit Magnum-spec cam & 727..

i dont have spark control on mine , i run an MSD distributor and ignition box , not sure of the cam in the car ( bought her as is) but its a built one , 8" of vacuum at idle , pulls strong till 6k Rpm , timing is set at initial 20 - 38 at 3000 , 440 - 727 too

I built a multi port injection system using 110 lb / hr injectors , predrilled Eddy RPM intake , 1200 CFM Accufab T body & an SDSEFI controller , it worked flawlessly .
Hand held tuner , better flow than a 6 pack intake & was a dry intake unlike TBI systems

Hi, I have the 30003 unit on my Ramcharger (stock 360 magnum). Everything is good except I have a rich bogging issue under load, from about 1200-2000 rpm. AFR goes to 10.5. and bogs hard. My Accelerator pump is set at -15.0. (Regular and fast acc, 170). The bog gets worse with more acc pump input. My AFR target is 14.4. I don’t know why it’s dumping gas in this range. I have good vacuum and no exhaust leaks.. which would cause the AFR to read lean. The engine starts, idles & runs strong in all other ranges/conditions.

Any ideas? Thank you.

definitely sounds like calibration issue. could you share the below settings for your car?

Fuel settings (afr under all ranges) ,Accel Enrichment (under all ranges) , TPS & MAP reading at idle and 1200-2000 rpm.

Othere than the bogging, it runs and drives pretty well. Cruises with an afr in the 14s, but I'm only getting about 7 mpg! It doesn't smell rich or anything. I have reset the fuel learn, without much difference.

1. change cam setting to cam 1
2. reset fuel learn and ride a bit so it learns

I got it dialed in! Unfortunately I don't know what did it.
I changed to cam 1, I reset learn everything, I changed my ACC pump to -5 and nothing seemed to have an effect. I checked my timing and retarded it 2 degrees, power was down...

I checked for vacuum leaks and didn't find any.

I pulled the exhaust O2 sensor and cleaned it with carb cleaner, it didn't look too bad.

I checked the map sensor grommet, even though I had already checked it before. Looked fine.

I found a loose ground wire on my hei ignition & tightened it up. Pulled dist cap for inspection.

I wrapped all the dist wires & ecu with faraday tape and it wouldn't start/fire. Upon reinspection I found the blue wire had pulled out of the connector. In fact it looked like it was never a solid connection because there were no wire strands crimped in the tiny connector. I had to figure out how to get the tiny connector out of the housing and soldered it up. I called it a night.
Today I verified my IAC settings (again) and TPS.

I took it for a test drive and it ran great, no bog!
I'll run another mileage test and see what I get. Hopefully, 12+.

In the pics you can see the frayed end of the blue wire, this is how it was, no broken strands were inside. I think this had a crappy connection and played havoc with the ecu... But I don't know for sure. There is also a cut in the yellow wire insulation.. this was made this way.
