You have done a great job restoring and documenting the progress of your '73 for our benefit. The car looks great. The 360 with that roller assembly will work great. Have you thought of removing the 5mph rubber bumperettes? I'm jealous of your working rally dash. Great looking car.
I seem to be missing that window fuzzy which is attached to a thin chrome strip on the exterior passenger side rear quarter window.
If someone has one or know of where I can find in please chime in. Prefer a nice one.
I attached a photo that shows the strip on the passenger door. And you can...
Thanks guys. I'll R/R the bushing and seal?(are they different?)on a rack I have access to. I already pressed in the u joints and yoke. Then re-balance the driveshaft. I don't have a photo of the old yoke but I could feel the grooves.
I wouldn't call it leaking. Just a small seapage. But now I have a vibration at 60mph that wasn't there before. Im concerned about any damage being encurred while driving.
Hi gang,
I'm replacing the u joints on my 70 TA. I also have a new yoke. But the one I took out has scoring or grooves on it. Do I need to replace the bushing or seal at the tail shaft of the transmission? Its the A833. Thanks a bunch.
P.S. I'm getting to old laying on my back. Gotta invest in a...
You would think they would have put the date/year on the sticker. The windshield isn't bad. Not pitted to bad. Trying to keep the car as original as possible. Rear 8-3/4 still has yellow markings under all the grease and roadgrime. Love the car. I want it's Plymouth twin.
These two stickers are on my T/A's windshield. What year do you think they are from? I keep them as a badge of honor just like the slight warp of the fiberglass hood. Both the windshield and hood are original. Like most of the parts on the car. The car has never left California.
Since you stated you have a 340 Challenger R/T then you can only have a 1971 Challenger with a Thermoquad. You would have J/U heads and they would have to be 2.02 intake valves. Some say the 71 340s with the 800cfm TQuads were the best.
