Hi, How would I remove the bulb sockets on the under side of the tail light housing? I tried turning with no luck and didn't want to force it.

Pull down? Can that break the socket? Or pull straight out?

Thanks NixDad, I have a 70 Challenger. I don't understand what you mean by, it snaps in from the bottom up. The bulb socket goes straight into the tail light housing.

I know the opening for the bulb socket is on the underside of the tail light housing, but socket plugs straight into the housing there.

Thanks Challenger RTA. Do I just try to pull the socket straight out or wiggle it back and forth while pulling it out?

Wiggling helps to loosen, while pulling out, but don't bend too far or may damage the bulb socket. Don't pull on the wires. It is hard to get a grip - not much room under the housing

Thanks very much doubleyellow, now I know how to remove the bulb socket.

They push straight into the tail lamp housing with spring clips. Wiggle back and forth and PULL. A picture is worth...
