Inching closer to a running engine. The early style valve covers are just being used to run it.

Did you paint your tail light buckets and what kind of pain are you using Dupont PPG what is the exact color code for that paint I'm doing my 70 Challenger in vitamin C
 
The tail light housings were plated, not painted....I'm not sure of the exact plating but I'll find out. The shop where I had the car painted uses Glasurit paints.
 
Finally fired off the HEMI for the first time. The original carbs don't perform so good so I am thinking about ditching them for a new set of clones from Harms Auto.

Looks incredible! What kind of black paint did you use for the tail panel and the Dana/rear end (assuming they are different) I keep getting inconsistent 'flat' black from Summit
 
Top finally on. The NOS stripe set that I had was too far gone to work. There were a few defects that wouldn't flatten out so it's going to have to be a set of new stripes.
