***** RAMP TRUCK, WEDGE BED PROJECT *****

***** NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING DUE TO THE BUILD WORK BUT DOES RUN WELL *****

This is already a ramp truck. It has been a ramp truck since it was new. It had a 19' Hodges bed that rusted away because it wasn't painted or coated.

YES ... it has a V10 but don't let anyone BS you about these motors vs a diesel. YES ... I prefer my diesel, but NO ... I will not talk this V10 down. It doesn't have quite the torque that my diesel has, but this truck ran flawlessly across the Pennsylvania mountains on my very last run before parking it. Has a new fuel pump (tank)

Both rocker and lower rear cab corners need to be replaced, and the bottom of the doors needs attention.
Both fenders need some attention, also.

As I mentioned, it ran and drove great the last time I drove it. I came right off the freeway and parked it, and started cutting the entire bed off due to "bed frame rust."

This is the perfect opportunity to construct the bed the way you want, with a reference guide of the old bed frame. I kept/saved the old frame and side panels for reference and dimensions, or a mock-up. I have not purchased any new metal to rebuild the bed yet, so the new owner will have to decide how they want to construct the new bed.

It has about $1400.00 worth of a brand-new driveshaft assembly that has yet to be firmly mounted. Actually, two of the shafts are OEM shafts that were in excellent shape and cut to fit. All Dana/Spicer couplers, joints, etc. No odd sizes or parts.

The wheelbase is 198". This truck can be transported on an open trailer as small of a load surface of 18', so as long as your axle bearings can handle the weight, it is relatively easy to transport. I have moved this truck on one of my trailers with an 18' x 7' load surface, and it used up pretty much all of the bed.

***** TRANSPORT ***** - If an interested party is in need of transport of this vehicle, I know someone relatively close to me who can do it ...

$3500.00

Clean, Clear KY Title In My Name.

The truck is located in Louisville, KY (40245)

Please PM me if interested.
