340 bored 40 over???

Looking at purchasing a 1972 340 bored 40 over. Any thoughts or problems with it being bored 40 over?

That is very thin for a 340 block. The bore size 340+.040 = 360+.080. Have the block sonic tested for core shift. I would only do a mild rebuild on a block that thin.

I have 2 x 340 blocks with +60 ( 4.10" ) over Eagle rods KB pistons skimmed flat with E/Q heads 64.5 CC roller cam 376 HP running in 42 degrees c not even reaching half temp
Like Moparleo says have the block tested could save a lot of headaches
