518 Trans Swap

There are many discussions on this swap.. You may find the rear of the 518 hits the Torsion bar cross member, causing the trans to angle downward and resulting in an unacceptable driveshaft angle... although, I seen to recall that late model 518s may have a smaller tail shaft area. This is something you should confirm before buying the trans... Good luck.

Well I only seen 1 Discusion on it but nothing else thats why I wondered. Yea the Tunnel area is knotted out so there is no binding that i did find out.
