WTB 70-74 cuda roof center brace channel.

My car was a sunroof car, but I'm installing a solid roof skin. So I will need the center support brace. Any leads would be highly appreciated.

You may need a donor to get this part. I'm not sure I've seen this part produced, aftermarket, not even AMD offers it. Possibly because, given its location, it's well protected from rust and exposure, compared to other areas. I may need to take a closer look at my OEM roof, but I think you can install this part after the skin is in place. Meaning, if you cannot find one in the short term, you may be able to move ahead with bodywork until you DO find one. It doesn't seem to provide much support, and it's primary purpose my be the mounting point for the dome light.

My car had an aftermarket sunroof installed during which they cut out the center support. It's not reproduced and I was lucky to find one from a doner car in Colorado. Had I not been able to find one, I would have fabricated one. Pretty simple part and would be a fun project. It is completely hidden so if it isn't true to the original, you'll be the only one that knows. If you need any measurements from it let me know. I haven't got it installed yet, but it's not for sale unless you are willing to pay significantly more than it's worth. Everything has it's price, I guess.
