It actually looks to be very restorable but I'm thinking he's 10K heavy on his asking price.

I don't think so, I mean a real AAR for 12K? I'll take two haha. No seriously 22K is probably the going rate for something like that. It doesn't make very good financial sense, but when do these cars make sense? A guy will put 40K in that car easy. That makes it a 62K car when done. It kinda adds up.

The last couple I've seen in similar if not maybe less complete went for 10k or less. If I were shopping for one I'd have a hard time paying over 12K for something like this, maybe 15K but that's just my opinion.

I agree with Matt. 10k - 15k. The car will never be worth 100k without the original motor and factory paperwork. You will see this car up for sale for awhile.

I spoke to the owner on monday and asked him about the vin for the car and it is missing also. He said he could get another one made if the lady he bought it from can't find the original, I said I don't think so
