Are the part numbers and design the same for inside door panels for 70 challenger and 73 challenger? Anyone know the part number for them? If they are different what is the difference in design?

Thnks,

Wizard

70 has more clips at the bottom. I think they're the same otherwise.

1970 is one year only. Quapman is spot-on about the extra clips. The other difference for 1970 is there are 2 slots cut at the top and bottom of each end (4 total) to allow for fit around the upper and lower curves of the door structure (see photo showing the 1970 panel with slots vs. a 1971-4 panel without.) You can easily replicate the slots by carefully cutting them in at the right locations which should help them fit properly. Other than the slots, the rest of the door panel is identical cosmetically. Hope this helps...

Thank you. Appreciate the knowledge. About how much do used door panels go for?

What ever they can get for them obviously. No list price for used parts only new. You just have to spend a lot of time checking panels out until you can find something that you like at a price you can agree on. Or there are some excellent repros out there that look identical and are made of modern plastics that won't chalk or crack like the old ones. They run about $400.0 a side including kick panels and rear panels. But you still have to shop around with the bigger Mopar parts suppliers.
