This is your chance to own one of the most sought after Mopars of all times. We have a 1970 true Challenger R/T 440+6 V code in highly desirable plum crazy with ZERO miles. It comes with the correct black hounds tooth interior, A/T, NON vinyl top. All elements of this car are correct per fender tag. 1970 dated coded 440 block (not numbers matching) with CORRECT rotating assembly (sixpack rods and harmonic, steel crank), numbers matching carbs, intake, exhaust, all major components. Body is painted, seats are completely ready to be installed. Instrument cluster and rally dash has been restored (Redline) and all is ready for installation. Dash pad has been restored and new carpet is ready to be put in place. Has disc brakes ready for conversion if you so desire and comes with Rally wheels. Grill is in excellent condition as are bumpers (already chromed). Customer gave up on project and just wanted out of car. True 440/6 R/T Challenger's in top restored condition are going for $80K+. This car can be purchased as is (you finish the assembly) for $55,000, or we will finish the restoration for $70,000. We are a recognized Mopar restoration shop with numerous magazine articles on our vehicles (see cover of Sept 2010 Musclecar Enthusiast Five of our cars have taken top trophies at the last 4 Spring Flings here in California. If additional performance is desired, we have available a professionally built 72 440+6 motor w/steel crank, with Indy aluminum heads, roller hydraulic cam, MSD distributor and six pack with new carbs. This motor is fresh out of a nationally known performance motor builder (zero hours), at a documented cost of over $11,000, which can be exchanged (additional $4500) or purchased separately ($7500).
