Are there any wires running to the center console in a 70 Cuda? If so where did they come from, straight down from the firewall or from the side by the rocker panel over to the console. Also what did they connect to, does it have its own harness? Thanks for any help!

Can you share the problem if there is one or, something you’re trying connect to?
Like shifter indicator light?
I’m sure someone will send a schematic from service manual.

I have a non-console 70 Cuda with a column shift. Im using a 70 console for cup holders a Tach and Oil pressure gauge. I’d like to run the wires to it the same way the factory did. I’ll add a picture when it’s complete.

I understand, yea, share some pics when you get it buttoned up.

To supplement what Challenger RTA posted for console wiring routing. The black tape is much like a paper masking tape. The wire is orange (ORG) insulation.

Thank you for the pictures, that’s very helpful. Because the orange wire runs the gearshift shift selector bulb light does that mean it will hook into the dimmer switch somewhere so it can be dimmed with all the dash lights?
