Hello all,
I just got back from the body shop with my b5 71 barracuda and thought I’d share it and ask a few questions.

Factory b5 318 904. Now 340 and I’ll soon be putting a 727 and 8 3/4 under it.

Bought it about 18 months ago and sent it to the body shop for a cheap quick scuff and spray paint job. Ended up doing a little metal work. It’s far from perfect but I’m very happy for the price of the paint job. I believe I posted about it under a different profile when I first got it but have forgotten my info.

I had a few questions for you Mopar gurus. What rallye wheels and tire/tire size would have come factory on a 71 340 Cuda? 15x7’s all the way around? I’d like factory looking wheels and tires.

Any suggestions on brand of black vinyl top?

Thanks all! I’ll post some pictures and would love some constructive criticism on how to make it a moderately presentable Cuda “clone.

First of all, very nice looking Cuda, love the Magnum 500's as well !!! Second, for the black vinyl roof, look at Legendary Auto Interiors. Oh, and welcome to the forum from Oregon!!!

Before - 245/60s on 14 inch magnums all the way around.

After - 245/60s the back and 235/60 on front. 15x7s with a 4.25 inch back space all the way around

The Magnum is a nice looking rim but the stance of the car is nicer with the new rim/tyre size.
That is a good looking car I would not do the vinyl roof. Just my 2 cents.
I think the original wheels were about 14x5.5
Some cars did get 15 inch but I think your one would have been 14 inch
Only the TA and AAR had staggered wheel sizes from what I read. I believe they were 15 inch.
