So I ordered the wrong size bolts (5/16) for my TC and the new ones just came, 7/16. The FSM says 270 inch pounds for converter to flexplate but ARP is saying 55 ft lbs!? That's quite a difference.... What should I be going with here for a spec? I plan to use blue loctite but the ARP spec is well over double the factory spec...

The 426 Hemi used 7/16-20 screws and factory torque is 65 ft-lbs flex flexplate to torque converter. So I'd have no issues using ARP's 55 ft-lbs and blue loctite.

I'm assuming you have an aftermarket Torque converter for your 904 that has beefy looking 7/16-20 threaded bosses.

Ok cool. Was leaning that way but I tend to talk myself into corners over stupid stuff. Thanks!
