Anyone add aftermarket CC to your Ebody? Planning a 1200 round trip. Did same trip 4 years ago and vowed to never again do it without cruise contol. Local stereo shop says they can do it, but would prefer to do it myself.

This seem to be an expensive route.

I would have to say there is a least expensive way. Using used OEM from any year.

I don't know if this any better.

From about mid 70's to 80's Chrysler? Those components would be able to be adapted. If it's a standard it would need a clutch switch do disengage control when depressed.

Is there anyone who rebuilds the factory cruise control unit or reproduces the diaphragm for the factory cruise control unit.

No one that I know. A friend needs one but none repopped. There was a guy on B Bodies that made them but no more.

Cruise control by mopar was a dealer installed option as well as a factory option. It very simple to bolt in a factory cruise control even on a six pak. Use the 1970 and later version. there are some nuances to installing one, but nothing requires rocket science or endless threads
