70 Challenger A66 Challenger was automatic with factory air in the popular blue/black
Not for the faint of heart.
Hate to see an A66 Challenger in this condition but it has been bid to only $720. dollars.

Happy Hunting and a lot of welding sheet metal

I would do 720, if I was state side.
Can't help it, I love them.

I noticed that, it was not sold, just not available anymore.
Perhaps sold locally.

Looked up the phone number from the listing, looks like it belongs to a place called Retrobuilt. They do resto mod/rebody Mustangs from what I can tell. Maybe they did not want to do a Challenger for some reason.

So what's this a66 package everyone is talking about?
I bought the car, but it really needs alot

:welcome: to FEBO from New Jersey
and I am glad you picked up the A66 Challenger.
Here is some information on the A66 Package courtesy of Barry Washington at Hamtramck Historical:

Hamtramck - Historical is your friend.

per the '70 Dodge "salesman's pocket guide" 9/23/69 version:
CODE A66 - Challenger 340 CID engine package - $258.90
NA Special Edition (29), NA R/T (JS)
15" Rallye wheels (W21) - required at EXTRA cost
collapsable spare (W34) - required at EXTRA cost

this changed at some point - as the following shows

per the '70 Dodge "dealership data book" no date found
CODE A66 - Challenger 340 CID engine package - includes
340 engine - E55
F70-14 RWL tires - T87
R/T hood
H.D. brakes
H.D. suspension
"bumble bee" stripe
"scat pack" decals
wheel lip mouldings "DELETED"

The A66 package made a standard Challenger (JH) into essentially an RT Challenger with a small block 340 by adding the RT hood, HD suspension, HD brakes, and a bumble stripe on the rear. They also deleted the standard wheel well molding and added the scat bee in the rear quarter windows.

The factory did not plan on initially offering the 340 in a Challenger and the package was not formally available for delivery until mid September, 1969. Initially, the A66 had to be ordered with 15 x 7 rallye wheels with E60-15 Goodyears and the collapse spare.

Best of luck with your A66.
What are your plans for the car?

I dont have a fender tag to tell the options,
So I dont kno if it's a a66 , all kno is from looking , car has ac console a/t buckets, vinyl top, b5 blue rear stripe i think it has front and rear sway bars the motor transmission and 8 3/4 long gone I'm probably forgetting a few things, I really wish i had fender tag,
But I'm going to start buying all the metal first and get to the body, I need a lot but i have time

I would take a chance and look for a build sheet. Sometimes they are in the back of a front bucket seat, but they look like newer buckets and not original, or possibly under the dash on top of the glove box. You may get lucky.

If it’s a real 1970 Challenger 340, then it’s an A66 car.
