Can't seem to get anyone to get the color correct. They say its because the old metallic particles aren't available. Any ideas or secret formulas?
Thanks

Hey, I've talked to you about some parts. My body / paint guy has tried a bunch of different suppliers. Paints them on panels and then I match to paint under windshield. Just a little off.

Have you tried Lesonal? They have an almost-staggering array of different-sized metallic toners, but their support for older American cars is kind of weak.

Hi Pete,

I would try to ask Steve Juliano with the Rapid Transit cars. Roger Gibson should also know how to get around this color matching problem. ECS is on this board and I know they have worked with different paints and coatings to make cars 100% correct. All of these guys do assembly line correct restorations. They may know where you can get the correct flakes or what you need for your paint.
