Best Radial Tire for Front of Barracuda

Hello. Any suggestions of a tire brand and size of tie for the front of a 74 Barracuda with a 15 x 7 inch wheel. 4 1/2 inch BS.

Are you using radial tires on the rear ? If not, radial tires on the front only will cause a dangerous oversteer on the street.

That depends on the front ride height. How much ground clearance do you need from the exhaust to the ground? How stiff are the torsion bars? What type of surfaces are you going to more likely drive on? Freeways? City streets? Country roads?

I've always been a big fan of Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s in the 60 series 15" size.

The largest I've comfortably fit in front is a 235/60R15. Generally, the 245s are too tall for the front and rub when turning.

My favorite stance is 235s in front and 255s in rear with 15" tires.

there are getting to be very few tires available in the right sizes anymore but BFG would not be the best one . 235 60 15 is common size for the front

Hello. I have about two inches of ground clearance from the headers to the ground. Driving on city streets, country roads mainly. Stock torsion bars.

2 inches is dangerously low. The minimum safe ground clearance on the street is 6". Any lower would bottom out on dips and cause possible suspension/ exhaust damage. It looks nice, but is only practical on a track.

IF everything is correct on your suspension (ride height, alignment), I'd trash any headers with only 2" off the ground, pronto.. either a different brand or stock manifolds.
