Bracket to be mountet.. where??

Hello.

Can you tell me where this bracket should be welded into place?

1971 Challenger convertible

Look like the exhaust bracket that goes to either side of the fuel tank. Not sure though.

I just referred to some recent pics of my '71 vert that included the exhaust hangers at the rear and saw nothing like them.

Hmm maybe it's a jack mount, for one of the canister screw jacks. but it seems like my car came with a hand man style bumper jack.......still just guessing..........
