I'm thinking about replacing my 1970 Barracuda (daily driver) chrome bumpers with the Elastomeric bumpers from Classic Industries before I repaint. Has anyone done this and do they fit well? Any reason that I should rethink other than cost and authenticity? Are there other sources for the Elastomeric bumpers?

The elastomeric bumpers are a different shape than the chrome bumpers. Just painting chrome bumpers will not give you the same look.
