My current flex fan is not drawing enough air so my temperature goes up when the car is not moving. They say the factory clutch fan is the best because the blade pitch is so great. However an 18 inch fan is hard to find and over $200 used. Anyone use an aftermarket alternative that has the same pitch as the original seven blade?

I have used the Jaguar clutch , it is the right bolt pattern & short & combined that with a 6 blade Flex-A_Lite fan , it is a great alternative & a reasonable price

Also, fyi, when storing the thermal clutch make sure it is vertical. If stored flat they can leak out some fluid and then are worthless. If you buy one that has been stored flat you may have a problem, check the box for oil.

There is also a rubber seal that goes along the bottom front of the hood. If not there, air can go over the top of the radiator instead of thru it.
