As I'm redoing the carpet on my 71 Challenger, so I removed the rear seat of course. I still have my original top boot cover with the metal spring plastic clips. It's tired and I don't want to take a chance on destroying it by continuing to use it. About 10 years ago, I ordered a reproduction boot (PUI) and it was a terrible fit, thinner material and used all plastic clips. I ended up sending it back. I now see the Legendary boots are in the $400+ range but some companies are selling some for less than $300. I assume these are the off brand (PUI?). I know the words "good" and "cheap" do not go together. My questions are the following. Are the Legendary boot covers nice fitting? Do they use the all-plastic clip? Do they have the same grain as the originals and are they a good, heavy vinyl? Are you happy with the boot cover you bought? I'm going to keep my original boot cover with the car since it is date stamped and has the original style clips. Thanks for any information.
A couple of photos of my original boot cover and a sample of the original style clips of which I have a bunch of new ones I could use in the future.

Call Legendary and ask them straight up, what is their product like compared to original. They're a pretty reputable company and should answer your concerns.
