I have a 70 challenger with a 22 inch radiator, have no issues with overheating but was thinking about a 26 radiator just because I’d rather have more than less for cooling. I know my opening is for a 22 because my car was a 318 originally. It’s now a 440/5spd, without having to cut or change anything can I just put a 26 radiator in and gain the coolant capacity? And I know that opening is only 22 inch but gaining more capacity I’m good with and leave the core support alone. Thanks guys

Absolutely, that’s exactly what I did to mine. Just drill a couple new holes on passenger side and add some rubber bushings to take up the gap. No need to cut anything, just enjoy the extra cooling capacity.
