I have a 70 challenger with a 22 inch radiator, have no issues with overheating but was thinking about a 26 radiator just because I’d rather have more than less for cooling. I know my opening is for a 22 because my car was a 318 originally. It’s now a 440/5spd, without having to cut or change anything can I just put a 26 radiator in and gain the coolant capacity? And I know that opening is only 22 inch but gaining more capacity I’m good with and leave the core support alone. Thanks guys

The only issue you may have is if you currently have an original radiator and then go to aftermarket. The aftermarket radiators do not fit like original. The way the brackets are welded on pushes the radiator closer to the engine. You may have clearance issues that you should be aware of.
