Cuda Hood Hinges - Same size side to side???

Working on my 71 Barracuda project and pulled out of the box my hood hinge springs that were laying in the battery box when I bought the car. They are different sizes, one is painted the right color and appears to be the right one. The other is a different diameter but roughly the same length and a different color. I suspect I have the wrong one.

Are they supposed to be different??? If not, anyone have a spare hood hinge I could buy?

There are numerous different springs for different years and models including different ones for the Shaker and Fiberglass hoods. You should post the diameter, length and coil count from the one you have that you believe to be original and match it with another one of the same size. If you have 2 different ones the tension will not be the same.
