purchase a 1971 31,000 original mile 318 challenger convertible. I created a 1971 hemi challenger RT convertible which was never built. I changed the entire drive train. I have a total rebuilt to factory specs 1966 street hemi motor. Could not find a 1971. I found a rebuilt 727 hemi automatic transmission out of a 1971 hemi challenger hardtop. I changed the drive shaft. And I changed the rearend out to date create 489 suregrip rearend with 323 gears so I could cruise anywhere. The interior is mostly original except I added a factory correct RT dash. And added new sunvisors. I added a date correct mopar radiator and trans cooler redone by glen ray. Added new exhaust and correct tips. The car is painted show quality plum crazy purple. The are no modern modifications except I added Bluetooth stereo and new front speakers. I wanted it to be like it would of rolled of the dodge assembly line including exhaust manifold no headers.
