DODGE hood call out

Hello All, I'm restoring a 1970 Challenger RT/se. The bulge hood has the large graphics, however, appears to have had some previous body work in the front where the "DODGE" letters go and the holes were leaded in. My question is: What were the options for the 70 "DODGE" call out letters for this hood? Thanks for your help. Steve

There wasn't an option. The 70 R/T always had the letters. The graphics may be 71. Is it a large cut out R/T? Do you have a 70 hood? Maybe it is a 71 hood?

Hello Challenger6pak, I do have the 70 bulge hood and the graphic is not the large R/T cutout. So with your explanation and more research, I agree with you that the hood did come with the "DODGE" letters. Thanks for your help and confirmation. Steve in Wyoming
