Might anyone be able to point me in the right direction reference replacing the door locks on my 72 Barracuda - I see many options that say fits a 72 on line, but all seem like non-barracuda locks (the ones shown all have a quarter size chrome bezel) or is that bezel removed? Thank you in advance

The door lock cylinders in E-bodies are the same as other car lines, but the cylinder is encased in the door handle assembly. The lever for the rod, which attaches with a "e"-clip, has a deeper step than other car lines. The following images show how the E-body door lock cylinder fits in the door handle assembly and how the lock cylinder and lever compares to another model.

The door handle housing/trim part covers most of the lock cylinder bezel.

The lock cylinder is retained in the handle assembly by two screws, washers, and a retainer.

Note the stepped portion on the lever.

The lock cylinders and bezels are the same, but the lock rod lever differs. Different models have different lock rod levers, but they can be interchanged by removing the "e"-clip and swapping the parts.
