Guys, bought these at a swap meet many years ago for my 73. Seller said they were for 71-72 cars but would fit a 73. Question is, time to order new seat covers, can i order covers for a 73 or do I need to order ones for a 71 or 72. Basic question , are the frames the same for 71,72,and 73s.....thanks.....Can t seem to post photo , must be too large.....

Frames are basically the same. There are some subtle but important differences in the seat button release.
The button that allows the seat to fold forward. There are differences with foam cushions.
I would contact Legendary and Classic Industries.
Seat back covers are different for 72 up

Thanks 71, ok, in looking at the seat covers in the Classic catalog I cannot tell any difference in the 71, 72 73 seat backs. But since the car is a 73 I wish to order 73 year style seat covers and just want to make sure they fit in the built it head rest area. I think my car is a rally car and think I saw a difference in standard and rally seats for one of those years.....just not sure.....

Seats and backs are different in the years with some overlapping. Theses are 70 and early 71.

These are 71 with chrome buttons. Notice the back of different than 70. The plastic back goes down to cover the hinge bolts.

This is 73-74. Notice the back is material and not plastic. These seats are not the same frame as 70-72.

Oval head machine screws of different lengths. They are reproduced but not sure who sells them.
