Hello,

I have a chance to buy an original drivers side front fender for a 1972-1974 Dodge Challenger. Is there a stamped manufactures part number on this fender? If so, where can I find it? Please send picture of the location. How could I decode the part number to tell me what year it was produced (1972-1974). The fender and headlight bucket are in good condition with what I believe is the original paint. What would be the expected/average price to purchase this fender.

Thank you,

Tirekickertoo

Stenciled on the inside of the fender. 3621-768-9 no date code really. Could have been a few years after they stopped making the cars. Fed law at the time required 10 years to stock obsolete parts.
No 72 -74 collectables. AMD for $399. or so,,

AMD does a good job, but their fenders are not NOS, and the cost for NOS is more (you really get what you pay for). I sold 73-74 NOS Road Runner fenders this year and they went for $800 each for new and $700 for "like new". I currently have a 72-74 NOS left Challenger fender and would expect a comparable amount for it.
