I found my old 73 Challenger I owned in the late 70's. I heard it was still around town but never was able to catch the owner at his shop. I cruised out there Monday and got to take a peek. It isn't in too bad of shape and it will be for sale. I think I need to buy it back. It's a B1 Blue/ B5 interior, black vinyl top, black strobe stripes, Magnum Wheels, 340/727/8 3/4 car. I will have to go back and look it over good and get the vin and option tag info. Sorry, cell phone photos aren't the greatest. I'm surprized, not too many B1 colored cars out there. toolmanmike

That's pretty cool Mike. You don't see that color very often. Let me know if you want any help getting it out of there if you do buy it back.

Nice reunion. I hope you can get it. A coworker of mine just got his 68 Dart back after almost 40 years. It had the 340 replaced by a 318 but the owner gave him the original engine too. He's passing it to his two sons. Car is in primer and nearly ready for paint.

Yours looks to be in great shape.

I've been out of the E Body loop for years now. I have been watching what the 72-74's are worth. My old one is pretty original except intake, carb, headers, exhaust, and wheels but everything needs redone. I need to go back and take a serious look. You guys are the experts. What are they worth if they are in average unrestored shape? Thanks, Mike

I called the owner today and I am going over Monday afternoon for a closer look. Anybody have an idea what it might be worth?

If I can get the wife to agree I'll be in good shape. I may have to finish my Dart and sell it if I decide the Challenger is what I must have. Decisions....Decisions! LOL

I'd have to say it is gonna end up in the 21-26,000 range. you are so lucky to find it in this kind of condition, you may get into a bidding war! Don't tell Anyone where it is till you have made up your mind on how you intend to do your deal. but if it don't end up back at your shack, you should get it to us here so it can be lovingly returned to it's former splendor!!!! really sweet ride BTW. I am soooooo envious right now!

I have a couple photos I carry around in my wallet of the car back in 76 or 77.
The photos are in bad shape but I'll scan them and post them here. Thanks for the pricing info.

Couldn't get the scanner to work so I took a photo. Wish I could find the negatives to those. I might still have them. tmm

Very cool! I hope you can make a deal that both you and the current owner are happy with. All of us NH boys should get our cars together for some group pictures sometime.

Went and looked at it again today. I'm going to do some hard thinking. It's in much worse shape than I expected. It's salvageable but it would take much more $$'s than I could muster up. Mike

That's too bad. At least it's inside and not sitting in the mud.
