Fuel tank sending unit leaking.

Installed a new unit with the rubber and lock ring and noticed that its moving around and leaking fuel. Please help?

Remove and check seal for damage. Re-install carefully again. Take your time....

If the seal that came with that new sending unit is too thin get yourself some thicker gasket material and make your own. Let us know how the fix works as well as how the new sending unit works once you get it to stop leaking. Keep your original, these repops are notorious P.O.S's and you can probably have your original fixed and would be better off.

I had a leak problem with a new sender unit too. The retainer ring was made from a thinner gauge of metal. We reused the POS ring and problem solved.
