Hello everyone, I am looking for the rubber channel inserts that the quarter glass runs up and down in. The rubber piece has the "flocking" where the glass makes contact as it moves up and down. Thanks, Steve

Sounds like he is looking for the rubber that attaches to the car with the felt on it. Do an internet search for Soft Seal weatherstriping. Different years attach differently. Make sure it is a match to your car.

Thanks for the reply. The piece that I'm referring to is the "U" shaped flocked window channel that the glass slides through as the window is rolled up. I'm attempting to upload and attach pic....with no luck. Steve

rubber channel research

Thanks for the advice on searching Soft Seal or Metro. I have spent much time in doing just that with no luck. I have used part numbers stamped on the original rubber with no luck as well as contacting other vintage "rubber" companies. As most folks are aware of, the B-body/E-body have these rubber/flocked "U" channels, however are different in dimension. B-bodies have the channel for the rear part of the glass and E-bodies have it for the rear of the quarter glass. Each channel is held in place by X2 semi-tubular rivets. In most cases, I have not had to replace these as the rubber is still pliable and flock is in good shape. The E-body I am restoring now requires replacement of these. I am hoping that someone has been successful in doing research and knows exactly where to purchase the correct pieces. Thank you, Steve
PS: I am trying to attach photo. It goes through the upload process, however does not show in my "photos", therefore, I can't click and drag to attach in my message.

IMG_7114.jpgHere is the Pic of the channels that I'm referring to. I'm not looking for the seal as you mention, however, the flocked rubber channel that the back of the quarter glass slides up and down in and as mentioned,is held in place by X2 semi-tubular rivets. Any help to find a source for these would help myself and others. Thanks, Steve
