What nuts attach this arm to the glove box. I’ve been able to find nothing that works. Or is it a pension nut?

Where would I get these acorn nuts? And do you know what size they would be?

They are supposed to be black acorn shaped nuts, but they are the cheesy kind (hollow sheet metal) that strip the threads on your door studs and will not tighten. A real PITA.

Maybe you could buy quality acorn nuts and paint them black.

Thanks for the offers I found some decent ones that fit. Not doing 100 point restoration but I appreciate it

Those nuts are 8-32 UNC for future reference.
The threads of the little stud can be damaged by the pressed steel speed nut.
