As long as I had my glovebox out on my 71 Challenger to replace the heater core and perform a heater box rebuild, I thought I'd document the parts. I bought a reproduction glovebox for my 72 Challenger that I'm putting together. I decided to compare the original in my 71 on left in photo to the repro on the right. The reproduction glove box halves are not screwed together but you can see the difference in the folds. I bought the repro box from DMT. Maybe Classic Industries and other suppliers are different. I saw a REM one that looked like a different material was used. Anyway, here are the photos.

Yes, not too bad. There were some offered for awhile that had a funky plasticized coating on them. I ended up re-using an original on my resto.

When I took my glove box out of my car, 71 Cuda, it had in chalk name "Rose" on it. I guess the women making them liked to personalize them.
