It was interesting to say the least. After taking care of some personal business with the wife I had to drive her to work and Cyrus and I spent a few hours walking around the local mall. He got some french fries and some apple juice for having to wake him up from sleeping in the car.
Karli and I have a tradition that we buy a special ornament for the tree for us and now Cyrus. Was able to buy Cyrus's, wasn't going to make the decision for our without her being there.
Another tradition is to put the tree up on my birthday. Because it was netted we haven't decorated it yet, as I'm waiting for gravity to pull the branches back down. It's a small tree, but, then again, we've got a small home, and a toddler whom I don't want trying to climb it.
All in all, it was a good day.
