has anyone tried restoring their dash pads?

Thank you very much. With the finished pad, does the surface feel somewhat flexible like the original new pads did? Can you press in on it with your finger and it's not so hard that you have to fear it will crack? Do you think it will allow some expansion from heat and contraction from cold without cracking?

Never had a new pad. But I'm sure this will hold up just fine. It is somewhat flexible
