Should have found and joined this a long time ago. Have had several e bodies and one 68' road runner. Been to the Nat's many times. I currently only have one e body, a 71 Challenger that I am restoring. Has been a project of mine for 10 yrs. I know, why so long....got into power boating (Miami vice type boats) and this took most of my time and money. Still managed to work on it some and have completed all the painting and suspension stuff. Now traded the fast boat for a cruiser so now back to working on it.
Purchased the car non running but complete. Plain 318 car with A/C. Always liked the T/A's so I started replacing everything I could find with T/A stuff. Restored everything down to the correct paint inspection marks etc. T/A torsion bars, T/A leaf springs, New magnum 500 rims, Complete T/A exhaust system, spoilers, hood etc. Painted limelight. It is bright. Have most all major parts to assemble, just need to take time to complete. I work on it a few days then cover it back up and leave it alone till the mood strikes me. Stays in the shop, never rained on. This site has got my interest up again and a lot more parts have been ordered lately. I am sure I will be asking or some help with some things. Looking forward to being here. I will post pictures as soon as I can figure out how to do them.
Thanking everyone in advance. 101_1967.jpg101_1959.jpg101_1960.jpg

Are you going to use a 71 grille? I like the 71's done as a TA. The car Chrysler should have built.

Thanks everyone. Like I said it has been just a labor of love on the car. I purchased the car complete but with no trunk or floor pans left. Striped her down to nothing. I have so far done all the work myself. Nothing has been sent out for someone else. I painted it in the shop you see, just lined the walls with plastic. I am going to use the 71 grill, paint match the bumpers. It has black and white hounds tooth seats from Legendary, all new door panels, carpet etc. This was not to be a T/A clone to sell as such etc but just because I always liked them. The car will be handed down to my son at some point. Hopefully get the headliner in soon, tried myself but just did not like the results. Will pay a professional to do this and while there install front and rear glass. Have all the T/A stripes and plan on getting them on next month as well as paint the hood with organosol.
