Help - Where Does This Go

I am helping my biddy put his 74 Challenger back together and he has no idea where this goes of what it is for? There is a left and right one, I did not help take the car apart and he bagged but not tagged, LOL Any help is appreciated!

The picture is of the top driver side of the cowl. Big enough?
