Help with TA engine

Bought this ta engine and I don’t know what 02 is on the vin plate at the end of the vin number 46FBA163-43C4-40EE-BC66-BA706FED4F00.jpeg

Neither do we, but the guy that stamped it has a reason. The TA 02 is not factory.

JH23 is Challenger T/A
BH23 is Barracuda AAR
The stamping doesn't indicate which body style it is from

I agree. Those aren't that easy to come up with. When your ready to sale it, there will be plenty of folks who would buy it for their aar or T/A. Lots of interest in these original motors.
Looks like it's been magged also!

Curious, did your motor come with it's offset t/a heads? All complete?

Might be worth a try to go over and join ebodies.org and message 6bblgt and see if he has any other info about the car. I hope an original owner will chime in. Dan will be glad to assist if he can. And there is a resources page that is phenomenal. Best on the web.
