Thought I'd pop in and say Hello. I don't have a E body currently in my posession YET, but I'm on the desperate hunt. LOL Theres a 73 340 'Cuda 4 speed that just popped up, and I'm trying to get a price, and also bugging a neighbor for his 70 Barracuda 383 4 speed. Hopefully one of the 2 will work out. *fingers crossed*

My Mopar addiction started when I was pretty young, my dad bought from his dad a 69 Dodge Dart 340 GTS convertible. From there he started a Montery Bay Mopars in the late 80's and put on shows for a few years up until the early 90's. During that time, I bought my first car. It was a 73 Barracuda 318, 3 speed on the floor, power steering and manual disks, but had a Cuda hood and dual exhaust factory. From there I plugged in a 340 w/A833 4 speed, rear sway bar, and ralley dash. I drove her for quite a few years then sold her. I have no real idea why, and have regret it bitterly since.

After that I had a 70 383 Challenger, auto with column shifter and split bench seat, total bondo bucket.
A 72 Challenger Ralley complete driver but another car that sat by the sea too long.
A 70 Barracuda shell ex drag car.
By luck some years later I turned up another 70 340 'Cuda, B3 blue, buckets, auto with console shift. Drove her daily for a couple years, but my fiancee at the time hated the car because "it made her neck hurt", so I sold it and bought her a car. Grrrrr... Hindsight is always 20/20, should have kicked her to the curb, but being young and dumb.....
After that I picked up a 73 Challenger, 318, but was munched hard on the right side. Totally cool car, had all ralley bits aside from the dual exhaust. Unfortunately when I moved I couldn't take it with me to finish it so another one sold.

Recently I pulled this car out of a tow yard, 73 Challenger Ralley. It needed everything! Had been hit on the left side. Started collecting parts, then the owner of the house I was renting got forclosed on. Had to sell fast and find another place to live. :(

Again got lucky and turned up 74 360 Ralley with automatic. Got to wrenching but ran into some financial issues and away she went.

Anyways, thats my story in a nutshell.

Welcome to the site. Your story is like a lot of ours. It can be tough to get a car done. Good luck with your search.

Well, the hunt is off, until I win the lotto or something. LOL! I'm working on this instead to keep me occupied (B body, but at least its a Mopar). ;-)
