Surprised I just heard of this since it started last year. Hughes Engines no longer makes/provides their line of camshafts, with only a few types still in stock. Not sure when this started but below is posted on their website home page.

"REAL CHRYSLER CAMS" ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE!
I have a Hughes in storage for the 318 rebuild, but I guess finding a good custom cam grinder and using a genuine Chrysler core is becoming more of an option. Does Howards Cams or other manufacturer still use proper Chrysler sized blanks for their Chrysler cam options?
Jamie from Dead Dodge Garage (and several others I've seen online) recommend a place called Oregon Cam Grinding for regrinds. Any other suggestions for the future?

WHY?
THE MARKET IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR CAM GRINDERS TO TOOL-UP FOR SUCH A SMALL MARKET. MORE MONEY CAN BE MADE GRINDING CHEVY LOBES ON CHRYSLER SHAFTS.
MONEY TALKS, "REAL CHRYSLER CAMS" WALK!
IT'S BEEN A FUN RIDE FOR 55 YEARS.
WE HAVE A FEW "REAL CHRYSLER CAMS" LEFT.
