My father and I would take about all things and never get upset at each other. He would listen to my ideas and reflect his wisdom back to me. A lot of times with a question that would make me think! I miss him as I'm sure we all miss others.
There is a lot of wisdom and knowledge here it reminds me of his.

EW1BH27 has posted some good info on this site over the years and I for one don't want to lose him or anyone else here for that matter!

There are no electric vehicles. Used to be electric buses in big cities but I think they're all gone. They were cool at night because you could see sparks sometimes! All the so called electric vehicles are actually battery powered vehicles and should be BVs instead of EVs. Batteries cars have there place, but none of our tax dollars should be subsidizing them! Diesel Electric (like the choo choo trains have) is the best power plant in my opinion, but I don't want it in my Challenger or Barracuda. Coal can be made to burn very clean nowadays. Wind and Solar will never be reliable enough on there own (ask Spain and Portugal) . We need coal, natural gas and oil. And don't forget C02 is plant food.

I agree, I have refrained from posting here. If this thread was on FBBO it would have been shut down in 10 minutes. I agree with the diesel generator/electric motor makes alot of sense, especially if you have a truck or heavy vehicle, that might be the answer for that application. I have liberal and conservative friends, some are normal and some are nuts. The thing is that no matter who is in charge they gonna stick it to you anyways, I just lean towards the side that makes most sense to me, just like everyone else does. All governments inflict us with political propaganda to keep us fighting with each other so they can do what they want. United we stand divided we fall, and we are definitely falling for it. Everyone here has similar lives there living, we're not so different. when I was a kid, when we went to family gatherings religion or politics were never discussed. That being said, my grandson is on his way over, going to help him prep his 5.7 junkyard engine to replace the one he ran out of oil, Glad I don't work on these newer vehicles alot, what a pain in the ass. Happy fathers day, Americans, Canadians, whoever you are.
