I have a differential that I believe is a Dana 60? I pulled it out of a '72 Cuda I used to own but I don't believe it was stock to the car. The info on the right side axle housing is:
5-25 64 5246B1 602824 I want to put it up for sale but want to identify it first. Also if anyone knows what it might be worth? I'm tired of storing it....Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I’m not an expert, but maybe this will help.

Hope this helps. Hard to see the axle markings in the photos. Thanks

I just checked the other #'s after seeing that illustration and the number to the right of the center section is 80 (not 60) The other side in same location says- US Pat 2018188 (not ratio)....so what do I have? Any value?

The dual bolt pattern drums are interesting too. Since the 80 series was a 1 ton application, this is most likely a conversion..Pull the cover and check for damage.

Looks great inside. Interesting about the dual bolt pattern. I've listed it on local Craigs List. Hopefully a 4-wheeler or nostalgic drag racer can use it....
