I have a 74 Cuda. this is my latest porject called Mutant Fish. Why because I'm putting everything I like from the years 70-74 in this car. The last Cuda I had was a 440 six pack 4-speed car and I lost it in a nasty devorce.
So the new car I'm building is a 318 car now but I want to do a 526 stroker motor. So my question is are there two diffrent K-member's out there or just diffrent motor mounts???

As far as I know there are 3 k-frames? 6cyl, v-8 , and hemi The v-8 one, sometimes depending on what engine the car came with, had a skid plate on the bottom

There are 3 K-frames total for the E-bodies. slant six, hemi, and all other V8s. Some of the V8 K-frames may have a skid plate welded on them (those are from 440 cars, only the skid plate makes them different).

Welcome aboard!

I'll chime in and say the responses you've gotten are correct.

Either way, here's a site for you to peruse.

If you're basing your stroker off a Wedge they have engine mounts ready to go. If you're basing your stroker off the Hemi, then they have conversion kits, too, to bolt up to your existing V8 K-frame.

Welcome to FEBO! Good luck on your build. It sounds very interesting. Got any pics so we can check it out?
