Kevco oil pan and pick up question

For those using a kevco oil pan on you small blocks, did you buy the main cap bolt so that 301-1 has something to bolt to? I have a 360 magnum based build and am switching from a milodeon pan to the kevco 302 with the above pickup. It has a tab on it to attach to main cap bolts but I have arp bolts now and don’t think it is set up for that. I can buy a arp bolt but really don’t want to if I don’t have to

I cut the tab off of mine. The tube seems plenty strong and I made sure it was quite tight into the pump. Some may say it's not a good idea but they are only a qt bigger and it's not deeper than stock.
