lock rods the same

[74 challenger]

are the lock rods in the door the same on 70-74 challengers. someone told me 74 is different. if so why??

Early 70 Is a different part number and 71-73 is another part number and then 74 has yet another different part number. On 74 the one end is designed differently as they used a different connector on the latch
