I have a long-time friend in the Southern California area that bought a white 1971 Convertible Barracuda with a big block back in the 1990s that he repainted and dropped in a 426 street hemi. He still has the car, with pictures of the original car on the wall of his garage. It was painted white, and came with the "Gull Wing" of which I was often jealous of. That "Crazy Cuda" thing looks REALLY familiar. I'll send him this information, but it's on him if he reaches out, or not.

thanks .and I just wanted to give info on the car for the owner

Kinda looks like a "Go Wing"....maybe an early 71 with a leftover 70 wing.....

1988 my father totaled my 70 Challenger Vert. The next day I left a note on your door asking if you wanted to sell the Cuda.

I ended up getting another Challenger a few days later. About a year after that you called me looking to sell the Cuda. Limited funds and room I had to pass. Always wondered what happened with yours and what the original specs were.

Hey, how's it going.I don't remember that because everyone was always trying to buy that car from me, even at a red light lol.I sold the car to a neighborhood friend then he got jammed up with the law and family sold it and I never came across it again. Not sure if passed by my old house 8800 bay parkway but now its a huge apartment building and the 383 that was in the car was thrown into the mechanics pit in my garage and covered with concrete. When I sold it it had a 440 six barrel. Not even sure if the 383 was the original motor as I didn't care about that stuff at that time.I dreamed about that car for years when I moved to Staten Island ,while living there I found another 71 vert slant six car sitting under a cover . rang the guys bell once a year for seven years before he finally sold it to me .I'm in old bridge now hope all is good with you this is what the car looks like now.the first one is the car I sold in Brooklyn.
