Lower valance trim and lower grill section, was it an option on 72-74 Challenger?

Can't check my references to be certain (in Kentucky tasting and buying bourbon), but I'm pretty certain the trim was part of a package. And I agree, it looks better with the trim in my opinion.

Hard to imagine that was a package only item since it carries the grill theme into the valance. I could see a lot of them getting damaged and removed.

True, it could be something that was damaged a lot. Looking at @Juan Veldez car, he has wheel opening chrome though that wasn't on all Challengers. That kinda of points to some kind of option, but without reference, I can't double check.

Both of my 70's have the front valence trim. I think it dresses up the front ends nicely on all 70-74's. Nice comparison to my buddy's purple T/A without it.

I could be dead wrong on this. Someone was telling me. Sometime ago I came across that. It seem to me it was more so if it was a coupe, hardtop or part of a package. Some packages were only available with a certain model. Did the Deputy get it? I think for 71 it was A46 69-71 Molding Package. Just for example Dual horns J31. Someone might be able to confirm or deny.

It was part of the A63 package in 70 and 71 Challengers as an option. I thought the frt valence molding was a standard piece on 72-74 Challengers.
