I bought a FBO plate and was gonna use it in my distributor. I discovered that my distributor is a older MP/mallory dizzy and that the FBO plate wont work.

Does it work to use on this mopar performance dizzy that mancini racing is selling? See pictures. First picture is the one i have right now and the second is the one mancini racing is selling.

Or is it the same thing and only work on a old orginial mopar distibutor?

The first picture / Mallory one is adjustable & can do exact;y the same thing as the FBO plate , loosen he screws & & slide the tabs in the slot to shorten the advance curve

Ok! So am i understanding this correct, if i losen the screws and make the distance in the tabs smaller , i lower my total timing. Can i then increase my intial timing and my total timing will only go as far i have adjusted the tabs? I would like to have around 20 intial and 35 total.
